We are currently looking for a Assistant Flood Engineer to join our Floods and Water Management team based at our London office on a part time, 6 month fixed term basis. A bit about the role:
To support production of Flood Risk Assessment, Strategies, Modelling and Design
Liaise with clients as required and maintain communication within wider team
Keep up with current and emerging UK Legislation to support the business
Support Project Delivery on Time and Budget
Support the senior members of the team to review planning applications
To engage across the Highways Engineering, Design Works and Flood and Water Management teams at all levels, ensuring project delivery and good working relationships. Working with and across all offices
To engage with clients, partners and supply chain partners and build on existing and create new relationships
Degree in Civil Engineering, Earth Science or similar
Understanding of Micro drainage, understanding of Hydraulic Modelling/Network Modelling, and good knowledge of Flood Estimation Hand book
Desirable -experience in GIS /AutoCAD
