We’d love to hear from you if you have:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar (not mechanically biased)
Chartered status with the Institution of Engineering and Technology
Experience of leading designs in a railway environment, both in hands-on roles as well as leading the work of others.
Design experience in at least one of Fixed plant or Electrical track equipment (3rd or 4th rail)
A range of experience covering concept design to detailed design would be of benefit, as would experience in the role of Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) for Network Rail projects.
A good working knowledge of Network Rail standards will be expected, as will a sound understanding of CDM and the designer's duties under CDM 2015.
