We are looking for an exceptional individual to join the team as the Quality Engineer to provide quality and compliance assurance services within our civil aviation maintenance side of the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Quality Management System, promoting measurable effectiveness and continuous improvement across the company.
Main tasks will include but are not limited to:
Conduct internal auditing to ensure that the Quality & Safety Management Systems are implemented and maintained to meet EASA Part 145, CAMO & ISO9001
Audit and monitor the performance of suppliers and sub-contractors
On a regular basis, perform independent product audits
Maintain the Regulatory Compliance register
Conduct monthly audits in accordance with the Quality Management System.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Experience in the generation of Quality Plans and planning of Quality Assurance tasks.
Confident in use of Power Point to present clear & concise quality data
Clear communicator in both verbal & written English
Performs well under pressure achieving tight deadlines
Maintain a flexible approach to all activities to support the ongoing growth of the organisation
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
5 GCSEs (to include Maths and English) at grade C or above.
2 A levels (in relevant subjects) or
BTEC National Diploma or equivalent in Aeronautical/ Avionic Engineering discipline or
Safety/ Risk management discipline Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or Technical education
Internal Auditor qualification
Must be able to demonstrate a period of relevant experience of working within Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the aerospace industry.
Previous experience of working within a similar role within an EASA-145 organisation
