This role within the operations team is focused on providing commercial and financial oversight for the portfolio, project management activities for discreet tasks, contract application and reviewing and producing performance reporting. The role offers ample opportunity to develop and broaden skillsets and renewables industry understanding, working within a vibrant team in a progressive company.
Performing a wide range of analysis and activities, from reviewing new technical opportunities and spend requests through to participation in the core governance and decision-making forums;
Lead for all bank project finance compliance, overseeing all deliverables and maintaining key relationships whilst current person on maternity leave;
Oversight of the management of each individual project, reviewing: financial reporting; performance of contractual obligations; ESG activities; construction programme performance; sale & purchase obligations;
Contributing to the strategic direction for portfolio projects, including capturing enhancement opportunities to create additional value within the projects;
Collection, review and summary of technical, financial and commercial information for:
Quarterly and other reports to the projectco directors, TRIG Advisory Committee and TRIG Ltd directors;
TRIG’s published Annual and Interim Reports;
Assisting in the 6-monthly updating of bank and valuation models;
Commercial awareness and application;
Passion for renewable energy & desire to play an active part in reducing climate change;
Desirable: awareness of UK & N.Europe renewable energy markets;
Highly numerate with proven analytical skills and strong
Microsoft Excel capability;
Good written and verbal communication skills (native or fluent English);
Solid influencing skills;
Self-motivated and collaborative approach;
Proven project management skills and comfortable managing competing priorities;
Desirable: Contract interpretation and application;
Desirable: renewable energy sector exposure;
Desirable: financial modelling usage or interpretation;
Desirable: A degree in an applicable discipline, or relevant experience;
Desirable: foreign language competency;
