Mott MacDonald is one of the largest energy consultancies in the world, with over 1,400 staff working directly on power-related projects. The successful candidate will play a key coordination role within the Transmission & Distribution team. In addition to liaising with project engineers, contractors and leading BIM counterparts, you will be encouraged to research, advise and implement digital innovation.
Support project teams in the use of BIM authoring tools
Producing project Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D content
Development and maintenance of BIM project documentation e.g. BEP, MIDP & TIPD
Implementing and maintaining the project Common Data Environment (CDE)
Monitoring project compliance to agreed workflows
Federate models and perform clash detection reporting
Coordinate and delegate project tasks amongst team members.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Strong 3D modelling skills (especially Autodesk Revit Structures/Civil 3D)
Strong interest in 3D design, modelling and creating immersive models
Enthusiasm to learn new skills and embrace new technologies and software
Have an eye for detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
Able to work on your own initiative, whilst displaying a commitment to contribute to, and learn from, the wider team
Ideal but not essential, you may have:
Experience of civil engineering design
Supplementary experience in Navisworks, Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk BIM360
Familiarity with working to industry modelling standards
Knowledge of ISO19650 / BS1192 / PAS1192-2
EngTech TMICE or similar
