The position of Technician within the Estates & Facilities Department is to support our existing capability and follow through on any repair requests from our stakeholders.
Our successful candidate will assist the Maintenance & Facilities Manager in the delivery of planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance at Wakehurst, ensuring all buildings and infrastructure are maintained to a high standard - for example, the care and protection of our collections. Another key objective will be responding to work requests in a timely manner.
You will be a multiskilled engineer ideally with one time served apprenticeship, either electrical or mechanical, and maintenance experience where you have worked in large commercial buildings. The role will involve being the main lead engineer on site with 2 other skilled people.
The salary will be £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
