Integration Engineer – Onsite Integration

Job summary

We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer who will support activities relating to Network Rollout (NRO) of Ericsson Radio Products.

Collaborating with the Ericsson Back office Site Integration leader, the role will involve the governance of and support towards the Onsite Integration services needed to secure an efficient delivery process and a timely customer acceptance.

This role will include making sure work is executed as per the project requirements and will work as a domain expert for all onsite Site Integration activities towards,

Customer Delivery Organisation,

Third Parties instructed by Ericsson

Ericsson Onshore Project

Ericsson Offshore Project Organisation

The role is primarily to provide Site Integration services relating to the DICI of Ericsson LTE & 5G RAN solutions but may also include In-Building, Infrastructure and Antenna line solutions.

This role is suited to candidates with a proficient background in NRO Site Integration on RAN swap projects.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of Onsite Integration support services for the deployment of Ericsson equipment.

Act as a domain specialist on the Onsite Commissioning and Integration Services required for volume deployment.

Support Ericsson’s Third Parties to deliver services through a controlled program of works ensuring that all services are undertaken to budget, to quality and within SLA.

Provide onsite Installation, Commissioning and Integration services for high profile customer sites or special events.

Provision of or support to Third-Party Engineer Training and Accreditation

Support New Product Introductions and ensure they are transferred effectively into the Delivery process. This is to include acting as a domain expert towards FOA’s, Trials or Proof of Concepts.

Translation of customer documentation and process guides into specific Onsite Integration guidelines to support Ericsson rollout activities.

Act on meaningful metric issues by investigating and implementing corrective actions

Actively handle Site Integration issues or dependencies throughout the delivery cycle that may impact the acceptance of a site deployment.

Ensure Onsite Integration services align with all Health & Safety and any other applicable legislative requirements (and any changes to these requirements).

Ensure relevant information is maintained in the project tools and that all documentation is handled in a structured manner and uploaded to the required repositories.

Technical assessment of Customer Change Requests (CCR’s) relating to Site Engineering.

Drive use of Ericsson Global methods and technology solutions to maximise delivery efficiency.

Key Proficiencies / Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in providing Site Installation, Commissioning and Integration services
Experience in the provision of Site Commissioning and Integration support within a NRO Swap project.
Ericsson Radio Product Knowledge covering Installation, Commissioning and Integration.
UK Industry, Regulatory and Standards Knowledge
Skilled in producing Site Integration Documentation
Know-how in supporting Engineer Training and Accreditation
Effective communication and facilitation skills.
Excellent supervising skills combined with a results-oriented approach.
Proactive approach in ensuring a quality and right first-time delivery process.
Planning and organisation skills for large projects with a focus on dependency management
Commercial awareness and experience of delivering to budgets.
Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
Flexible with the ability to take care of change and ambiguity
Experience in tackling challenges with perseverance to overcome multiple obstacles.
Prepared to travel throughout the UK to customer offices and sites
Climbing or Working at Height (Rooftop) Trained and Certified to include Medical Clearance, RF Awareness and First Aid.

Desired Proficiencies

Knowledge/Experience of Civils; Towers

Rigging; Antenna Line Systems (from BTS to antenna) including testing; Antennas; Feeder Systems; RET control,

Proficient IT skills e.g. MS Office and workflow concepts

Academic Background

Degree Level in Technical Discipline or Relevant Technical Experience
