Here at E.ON we have a great opportunity to join our Industrial & Commercial Product team as a Digital Product manager, in this role you will be involved in translating customer needs into digital Energy Management Solutions products as well as managing a team of developers and ensuring that development proceeds according to plan and business needs.
Other duties include;
Alongside the other Digital Product Managers, you are responsible for the delivery of the Digital Energy Management Platform products within the Optimum family.
You develop the Digital Roadmap based on value-based prioritization of customer requirements in close collaboration with the commercialization manager and different regional sales teams.
You work in close collaboration with customers, conducting customer experience sessions to ensure the Roadmap is aligned with customer developments.
You define the product scope that needs to be delivered. You ensure the delivery does not deviate from the Roadmap.
You are responsible to ensure the requirements are properly defined and understood by your team of developers (4-5 developers per team).
You work in close alignment with the EDT Software Delivery Manager to ensure seamless integration of customers, business experts, developers and data scientists, to achieve Roadmap and sprint goals.
You work according to the agile methodology and ensure that all parties involved in delivery or impacted by delivery comply to this way of working.
You ensure alignment of features delivered within your team and the other delivery teams to allow for successful feature delivery in a bi-weekly sprint cadence.
What we need from you
You hold a degree in technical studies, engineering or equivalent education and have combined it with extensive work experience in Energy related areas.
You have several years of senior experience in Energy Management or software operations and/or energy management product delivery in the area of sustainable buildings and or manufacturing.
You have several years of experience in project management types of roles and demonstrated ability to manage people and stakeholders
Strong commercial and business development acumen
Very strong customer focus
Problem solving attitude and hungry to learn new domain, platform and or IOT related topic.
Ability to work under own initiative and to build and work with virtual teams
Analytic mind with ability to derive concrete recommendations and drive their implementation.
Strong interpersonal and moderation skills, persuasiveness, and empathy.
Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge from outside own area of expertise
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders and comfortable in a matrix environment working with both marketing and product teams and enterprise-wide planning
Excellent written and oral communication skills
