We require a customer focused and IT literate individual to join our busy highways team. The technical administrator is a crucial interface between the public and our maintenance, drainage and cleansing operations.
The role will involve managing reports on Confirm and Fix My Street systems, liaising with highways inspectors and senior engineers on issues affecting the network, and processing applications for highway licences (footway crossings). The applicant should be confident and pro-active to resolve issues that may be of an urgent nature to maintain public safety
Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes walk away.
