About this career opportunity…
Based in Arup’s Buildings team in Sheffield, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Document Controller to join us on a one year contract and assist with the distribution of documents and drawings for the team across the North West & Yorkshire region.
The Assistant Document Controller will use strong relationships with the immediate team and the wider Group to ensure that accurate documentation is maintained, and will also liaise with a wide variety of functions across the wider Arup network.
The role will involve receiving and issuing documents according to project requirements, coordinating multiple sources cross multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail. The role will initially be focused on supporting the Manchester office, but in time will provide the opportunity to work across other offices and with additional teams.

QA checking of all documentation to be issued externally
File and log all incoming and outgoing documentation
Access and navigation of Controlled Data Environment websites
Assist with Archiving /Scanning/Printing - Renaming, recording and filing incoming hard copies of drawings from both internal and external sources
To achieve in this role, you are likely to…
Be passionate about a career in document control, with some experience in a similar role
Have strong skills in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
Be able to demonstrate the ability to organise a workload from multiple sources
Be detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a busy environment
