We are looking to recruit a Transport Planner to support on projects within UK development planning market remotely initially, but have access to either our Bath or Manchester office to be part of a team of engineers and technicians delivering on a diverse range of exciting projects in the UK and across the world.

The Transport & Mobility team have mainly been working on a variety of projects from Transport Strategies to Development Planning and Mobility Management. The role is to support and assist in investigations, analysis and research, as well as contributing to the delivery of the project itself.
This will Encompass:
Feasibility and design of transport solutions.
Preparation of transport assessments, travel plans technical design notes.
Managing Budget of your assigned area of project.
Being responsible for the quality management whilst on project.
We are looking for:
Budget and quality management at project level.
An interest in keeping up to date with developments in transport and planning policy and latest thinking.
Good levels of numeracy and capability with spreadsheet work.
An understanding of a range of transport planning techniques such as travel demand forecasting, transport policy context and outline scheme design including Highways design principles for development schemes.
An understanding of masterplanning concepts to encourage sustainable travel and smart city planning.
An understanding of modelling software, primarily Junctions 9, but also Linsig, Vissim and other junction related software.
