Hours: 37.5 per week, on a rota basis with usual working hours between 8:00am – 8:30pm Monday to Friday and between 8:00am - 5:00pm weekends and bank holidays.
Location: Hybrid working, split between homebased and our head office on Logistics North, Bolton.
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience.
UW Home Services - part of Utility Warehouse - provide smart meter installation and maintenance services to Utility Warehouse energy customers. We are looking to recruit a Smart Operations Coordinator to support the fast paced operation by monitoring, and ensuring that the field operations are running as smoothly and efficiently as possible throughout each day.
What we're looking for:
Do you have strong communication skills, both written and verbal?
Do you have excellent customer service skills?
Do you have the ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines, to prioritise your own workload and work with initiative?
And do you have exceptional organisational skills particularly in time and diary management?
What you'll do:
Monitor and track Engineers’ daily activity and ensure that jobs are attended in a timely manner
Liaise with customers to support the Engineer to complete the work, e.g. to allow the Engineer to gain entry to the property or rearranging appointments, if appropriate
React to ‘on the day’ issues calmly and effectively whilst following procedures
Ensure all appointments are attended by Engineers through successful communication with the Engineer and their Field Team Manager
Handle incoming emergencies and dispatch jobs appropriately to the most relevant Engineers
Be a point of contact for enquiries from internal staff, Engineers and customers
Work as an effective team member, in particular working closely with and supporting other team members to ensure the most efficient running of the Engineer's schedule
What we'd like to see:
Operational knowledge of domestic/smart metering is desirable, but not essential. Full training will be given.
Excellent IT skills and knowledge of multiple operating platforms
Strong geographical knowledge
Experience in managing field activity including the ability to highlight key issues that could have a significant impact on operations.
