As a Software Developer, your key challenge is to use exciting new technologies to make an impact in the fight against cancer.
Build, maintain and improve an image analysis solution using Python, .Net Core, Typescript and any other development tools and technologies as appropriate.
Endeavor to align with best practices, embrace a continuous improvement mindset identifying opportunities to enhance the system, the codebase and the development process.
To be an active part of the development team, collaborating across teams, contributing to analysis sessions, system design and code reviews.
You are a part of Philips Digital & Computational Pathology, Belfast.
As software developer reporting directly to the team lead, you will design and developing effective and reliable solutions which dramatically impact medical science. Our products combine sophisticated image analysis with a straightforward, no nonsense workflow to support pathologists, researchers and data scientists.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Experience training deep learning models for the pathology domain
Experience building model orchestration components using Python toolkits
Demonstrable understanding of the challenges faced when integrating deep learning models with application software
Experience working with AWS infrastructure
Experience with Jenkins pipelines
Experience using Infrastructure as Code technologies
Experience using Configuration Management technologies
Experience with GitHub
Experience with iterative Kanban processes
