This is an exciting time to join us at our Grangemouth site, the Company’s’ largest manufacturing asset. The site is undergoing a radical transformation with significant investment into the chemicals business in the order of £450m, securing long term feedstocks and delivering a number of synchronised projects.
These projects so far have included the successful commissioning of Europe’s largest shale gas ethane tank and completing the building of the new, state of the art Grangemouth headquarters.
To aid the delivery of another our projects, we require a Process Control Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of these.
The successful candidate:
Will have extensive industrial experience in the field of process control applications ideally gained in petrochemical and allied industries.
Will be capable of design, build, test and commissioning of applications.
Understanding of SIS technology & legal requirements/standards.
Knowledge and understanding of alarm system and user interface guidelines.
Good interpersonal skills to communicate with Shift Operators, Operations Engineers, Management and third parties.
Good communication and team working skills.
