Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a SECTION ENGINEER SITE OPERATIONS to join our Regional team to work in Reading.
Re-structuring the project organisation as part of an urgent project re-boot plan
What you'll be doing
You will have the following accountabilities:
Ensuring that our subcontractors are in receipt of all necessary design information, drawings and the like in advance of works on site
Ensure that the designs and drawings being used on site are at the current and applicable revision, at all times
Create and maintain all necessary and relevant quality records for the work scope allocated by the line manager
Produce and maintain a daily diary of activities on site with particular attention to daily production targets and actual productivity achieved
Record any and all impacting events that cause any form of change or delay to the works of a subcontractor and or our own works
Record and report to lime management and site commercial staff any and all impacting events likely to cause time and cost impact
Review temporary works, traffic management schemes, fencing, hoarding, use of plant and equipment etc. daily to ensure safe working procedures are being followed at all times
