Responsible for the repair and planned maintenance of all moulding machine and associated equipment across the facility.
Working with a team of 3 engineers you will resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
Daily duties include the use of:
Injection moulding machines.
6 and 3 axis robots,
Temperature control systems,
General electrical, mechanical and hydraulic repair equipment.
Requirements and prospects
Good IT computer skills
Good time keeping and attendance
Willing to learn
A-C 9-4 grade GCSE or equivalent in maths & English
At the end of the apprenticeship the candidate should aspire to be a qualified maintenance engineer earning industry standard pay rates. With performance related pay reviews during the apprenticeship. Options to specialise in specific areas of the business such as automation may be available. As well as on the job and college training, specialised training with machine suppliers will be used.
