Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position will be responsible for supporting the production departments in both the Machine Shop and Fabrication Halls
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Reactive and planned maintenance on Punch/Plasma machines, Pressbrakes and Drills
Will consider those also with experience on Weld plant and Cranes.
Upkeep of the pneumatic tools and other tools used in production.
Carry out repairs on both electrical and mechanical equipment
Upkeep of maintenance spare parts
Report daily on any materials used and work carried out during the shift
Upkeep of records on maintenance computer system.
Qualifications / Experience
Qualification in an engineering discipline.
Minimum of 2 years previous maintenance experience gained within a high volume manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Clean driving licence
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Self-motivated and high energy with ability to work on own initiative
Ability to work within a team
Ability to work overtime at short notice
Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
Excellent verbal and written skills
Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust
Drive for results
