We currently have vacancies for systems engineers with industry experience at a range of levels including system design, requirements and interface analysis through to systems acceptance and trials at our sites in New Malden, Broad Oak, Frimley and Dorchester.
As a Systems Engineer, you will be performing a range of systems engineering tasks to ensure that the overall system will behave according to its functional & non-functional requirements. You will be required to demonstrate key technical skills and be able to communicate strongly both verbally and in writing to management and peers.

Your main responsibilities as a Systems Engineer will involve:
Contributing to the elaboration and agreement of system requirements understanding the change in system capability against an established design baseline
Analysing Date Exchange Specifications using their content to elaborate systems requirements and to direct system design.
Supporting the development of design specifications under guidance and carry out design activities in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards.
Participating in the development, maintenance and modification of the engineering processes and procedures in assigned areas in response to technical developments and operational need.
Carrying out technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical options, and prepare reports with suggested recommendations to support the design of improvements.
Contribute to process improvement within the operational and/or engineering team to deliver continuous improvements in quality, cycle time and asset utilisation.
Support liaison with customers and/or suppliers in assigned areas on engineering matters.
Your skills and qualifications
An understanding of System Engineering and System Engineering Processes and Practices, including knowledge of Systems Lifecycles.
Minimum of 2 years industry experience in development of real time and distributed systems ideally within Defence, Air Traffic, Rail, Marine, or Aviation
Experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
System Acceptance Management
Trials & Integration Support
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (BEng, BSc) in a Numerate, Scientific or Engineering subject or Higher Education/equivalent training and experience.
