Digital Waffle is working in partnership with a top international law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Infrastructure Engineer
The role will be responsible for all aspects of support of the firm’s mobile, instant messaging, and videotelephony solutions, ensuring that the infrastructure is maintained to the high standards required to provide resilient services to the firm and its clients, liaising with other teams, departments or offices as necessary.
The role is responsible globally for the management, operation, and full lifecycle of users' mobile phones, MDM, Skype for Business, Teams, and the future roadmap of the telephony within the firm, whether hosted on-premise or in third party locations operating under contracts with Hogan Lovells.
In addition, in order to effectively support the services running on the firm's Information Technology infrastructure, a good general knowledge of all applications and services provided to the firm is required.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:
Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues before they impact the user/customer.
Maintain effective Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery technology and procedures working closely with other teams, ensuring all team members are fully familiar with said procedures for all office models
Ensure effective Capacity Planning, Reporting, and Monitoring processes are in place to cover all aspects of the firm's infrastructure within the functional area, as directed by the Senior Manager.
Create and maintain standards, procedures, and policies in order to enhance new and existing services whilst ensuring Change Control is being adhered to
To build structured, globally focused documentation of all systems and procedures that are relevant to the desktop Infrastructure including reviews of the current processes and documentation as required
To undertake assigned projects or tasks, carry out relevant research, and define and/or document the scope of the project
Specific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location, or services
