Training Services Group – Infrastructure Engineer

BAE Systems Training Services Group is expanding and we are looking for experienced and talented Infrastructure, Networks and Interoperability engineers to join us to support the development of software across a wide range of state of the art products.
Your main responsibilities will involve:
Integrations of BAE Systems and third party equipment hosted within a synthetic environment at BAE Systems and Customer sites
Providing specialist expertise; developing creative and innovative solutions, utilising fault-finding and analysis skills in support of product development and enhanced product performance
Deploying and supporting the deployment of MCTS and MCTS based systems at BAE Systems and Customer sites
Supporting acceptance activities at BAE Systems and Customer sites
Defining and reviewing requirements for systems and software work packages
Designing and supporting the design of systems and software work packages
Studying and supporting Bid work including report writing, presenting and estimating
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Working experience with networking of a large multi-site facility
Experience of virtualization infrastructure and technologies
Knowledge of Networks, WAN protocols, switch and router configuration
Software and Systems Lifecycle for complex systems
Working experience of systems and software development using a variety of software languages
