What are we looking for?
As the successful Commercial Assistant, you will ultimately be responsible for reconciling engineer credit card payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions.
Engineer Account Reconciliation
Reconcile Engineer credit card report daily and import to Germany
Maintenance of clearing accounts in SAP on a daily basis matching transactions. Identifying and taking required actions to resolve unmatched items.
Reconcile cheques received against encashment documents.
Lodge cheques received from engineers on the engineers accounts, prepare bank deposit slips and lodge bank deposit in SAP
Answer payment queries from internal customers and relevant departments within the business.
Support engineers taking payments where necessary.
Develop internal processes.
General Administration Duties
Approval of Credit/Debits within Customer Service
Maintain error pools for both Workshop and Field Service.
Assisting with raising of purchase orders for Customer Service.
Perform all other duties as reasonably required that are consistent with both training and experience
Adhere to all Company processes, procedures, policies and standards
Maintain effective working relationships
As a team member, to contribute to the overall success of the team and the Company goals by maintaining regular attendance, punctuality, focus and professionalism at all times
Maintain tidy work area and report any health and safety issues to the Group Health and Safety Manager
Who are we looking for?
A successful Commercial Assistant will take a proactive approach while thinking analytically and numerically. You will also have:
Precise attention to details
Ability to work on own initiative and be a team player
Good telephone manner
Organisation and prioritisation
Good knowledge of excel - able to use basic formula’s within daily tasks to manipulate data
Ability to work in landscape of different systems
Basic SAP knowledge (CRM, SD, FI, CO)
