Terex are expanding and are recruiting for a Manufacturing Systems Coordinator to be based at our Omagh site for a six month contract with the potential for extension.
Reporting to the Production Control Manager & Lead Manufacturing System Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and improvement of existing manufacturing and production control processes and procedures to ensure successful production planning & manufacturing of crushing equipment within a fast paced manufacturing facility.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Creation & Maintenance of Bill of Materials for Production & New Product Development
Processing Production & Engineering Change Orders
Processing Machine Spec Changes
Support Machine Shop Team
Creation of Fabrication Work Schedules
Capacity planning for Machine Shop
Costing Spares & Warranty Orders
Setting target hours for New Products
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum HNC / HND Engineering Qualification or demonstrate extensive relevant knowledge through on job experience.
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Oracle) would be advantageous
Competent in use of Microsoft packages
Experience of 3D modelling software would be advantageous
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent multi-tasking & attention to detail skills
Ability to work under pressure
Good organisational skills
Logical & Methodical approach to problem solving
Ability to work with others to meet deadlines
