We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join us on a permanent basis at our Sittingbourne site.

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the manufacture and purification of proteins within the production team. You will work closely alongside our Production Scientists and report directly to our experienced Production Team Leader.
Duties and responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to the following:
To become competent in Production Protein manufacture without supervision as required,
Contemporaneous completion of quality records and batch records
Preparation and use of columns, buffers and reagents
Calibration and operation of key laboratory equipment
Compliance with BBI’s quality system requirements
Completion of daily cleaning checks and records
Responsible for maintaining individual training record
Adherence to all SOPs, PSBRs, EOPs, SMPs and relevant documents
Meet daily production targets
Supporting production team members where necessary
This role would be best suited to someone who has a Biological/ Science related Degree, but this is not essential for consideration. Ideally, we are seeking someone with at least one years’ manufacturing experience with a strong working knowledge of GMP, ISO9001 and ISO13485.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent organisation skills, leadership qualities and an ability to work with multiple departments throughout the company.
