The Loan Agency and Participation team is responsible for managing MUFGs operational obligations as lender and acting on behalf of the borrower across a portfolio of Syndicated and Bilateral Loans, and for managing events on each Facility in accordance with Facility Agreements, internal rules and Market Practice.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The IT Team in the Operations Office for EMEA are responsible for around 60 MS Access applications with about 600,000 lines of VBA code.
This specific role is for the lightly-supervised development of a new system in support of business operations
Work as a Senior Analyst / Programmer within the Operations Office for EMEA’s IT Team, supporting system development and implementation.
Be responsible for the production of various project products including but not limited to; Analysis, Business Requirements, Design Documents, Application Programs, Test Scripts, Test Plans, etc. and will perform, where required, some elements of Project Management.
The solution should be consistent with the design and implementation of existing solutions, and reuse existing components where relevant.
Undertake the design, coding, and testing of solutions using MS Access and SQL Server technologies.
Re-use and leverage functional components from existing MS Access systems
Analyse user requirements and design technical solutions to business problems.
Document requirements, system designs/specifications and user guides as per department standards.
Prepare test plans including test cases and coordinate UAT with users.
Understand and apply departmental development standards and procedures.
Provide technical support for any system related problems and queries.
Build good working relationships with other departments and relevant business areas.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Functional / Technical Competencies (Essential):
Microsoft Access Expert
Strong MS Excel skill;
Computer literacy skills, Microsoft office including MS Outlook;
Work Experience (Essential):
Demonstrable experience of EUC deployment and its use in a Operational environment
Solid and demonstrable business requirement gathering experience;
Excellent Stake holder management skills
High levels of attention to detail;
Education / Qualifications (Essential):
A Level or equivalent and/or a preferred degree;
Equivalent experience will be considered.
