DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Listed in order of relevance:
Under general direction design, translate, simulate, test and validate process control and safety system software.
Create design specification from brownfield functional logic.
Assist in the development of control strategies and software requirements.
Assist with defining requirements to resolve moderately complex problems.
Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Sc. Degree or higher in Control, Automation or equivalent technical degree.
2+ years of control system software engineering experience.
Experience in software development preferred.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
PLC and HMI software development, simulation and testing.
Understanding of relational databases, SQL.
Experience with Visual Studio and .NET Framework.
Ability to work effectively within a small team.
Excellent communication skills in English required.
The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal. Minimal travel may be required.
