Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly

The Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly w ill have the following key accountabilities:
Planning and implementation of Manufacturing related projects within given timescales
Continuous improvement of Manufacturing (Assembly) processes
Root cause analysis and implementing of Safety and Quality improvements
Provision of Engineering support to Production departments
Implementation of Engineering changes from Design into Production
Highlighting and implementation of health and safety, quality and productivity improvements
Liaising cross-functionally within all departments in HYG.
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet the following essential criteria:
Educated to HND/Degree level, with a minimum of 1 year's Engineering experience in a Manufacturing environment
Alternatively, we will consider candidates who hold an HNC with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a Manufacturing environment
Strong presentation and communication skills
Working knowledge of all relevant Microsoft Office packages (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Autocad experience
Experience of providing technical assistance in a production environment
Knowledge of the principles of Lean Manufacturing.
