We are seeking a Graduate in a relevant engineering subject to join Sony’s Engineering team for our Home Entertainment and Sound department as a Graduate Engineer . You will have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly skilled team working on Sony’s impressive TV product range.
You will be trained and supported to provide Engineering expertise across several areas, including:
Undertaking technical analysis to all picture related market issues
Support Sony Europe marketing events, shopfronts, magazine activities and other technical troubles
Support new factory model introduction and quality improvement
Analyse market challenges, and provide technical reports on Picture Quality to Quality Assurance and Customer Service teams
Relay key data and reports to Design teams in Tokyo and Malaysia
Marketing Activity Support
Work with European Marketing teams to review and measure picture quality at European demo events and shopfront displays
Providing onsite support for quality confirmation, tuning and UI optimisation for events i.e. Trade shows, Training, Promotional events and Internal events
Identify issues from review articles, online forums and paper magazines, proving technical solutions to marketing team and outside company reviewers
Contribute to picture quality meetings to check mass production quality
Make proposals to improve quality of picture adjustment in final assembly line and quality checking environments
Travel to Slovakia liaise with Foxconn members
Europe Regional Specific Picture Engineering
Introduce key features to internal/external stakeholders
Pick up European market trend and technical key points from reverse engineering or customer pain point survey, feeding-back proposals to Tokyo and Malaysia design teams
Travel for European events, supporting company members worldwide.
You will have:

Some knowledge of signal processing, picture processing and display engineering
Understanding of consumer product development
Skills in the evaluation, testing and analysis
