We are looking for a construction engineering apprentice to join our team in Birmingham., you will need to be enthusiastic, well organised, and self-motivated. You will have 3 GCSE’s including English and Maths at Grade C or above. The apprenticeship will be based on a construction site with visits to college to facilitate learning.
What might my programme entail?
You will be reporting to the Site Agent. This is a brilliant entry route to a career in construction giving you the base skills to progress to a Site Engineer or Quantity Surveyor.
You will be responsible for:
Providing dimensional control, setting out and checks to facilitate the construction process
The recording and measurement of works
Assist in cost control and systems of working
Support contractual procedures and programming requirements.
Assisting in ensuring the site is a safe place of work by following best practice
Contribute to checks on quality and completion of site records and documentation.
Assist the project performance across technical and health and safety aspects.
