The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Manufacturing Technology Engineer , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Identifying and leading continuous improvement projects to improve the cost, quality and safety of our manufacturing processes
Employing an appropriate range of improvement tools including Lean Six Sigma
Providing support for resolution of quality investigations and equipment performance issues
Analysing process data to better understand and optimize manufacturing processes
Preparing and deliver compelling communications to all levels including site manager and production crews
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Degree level education in science or engineering, or substantial experience in a technical/continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience or qualifications in Lean/Six Sigma methodology
A track record of leading significant continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing environment
Experience of problem solving for manufacturing issues
The ability to plan and deliver on project schedules
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the organisation and to facilitate
cross-functional groups for problem solving activities
Role Location: Atherstone, Warwickshire
Ideal candidate location: Within a commutable distance to Atherstone
Salary - £high-reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package.
