The Visualisation developer will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of QlikSense applications. This will require engagement with business stakeholder to elicit and understand requirements and work within an agile development framework to deliver market leading dashboards with enhanced insights into business performance. We are currently in a very exciting period of change, we are building a central data asset to conform key data from our General insurance business and provide a central source of the truth for the business. This responsibility of this role will be to work with internal colleagues and business stakeholders to leverage this new data asset and maximise business value.

You will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the QlikSense applications
Implement various data modelling, visualization and reporting techniques
Create QVD files and solid exposure to Qlik scripting language (including SET analysis)
Experience in front end QlikSense development and dashboard design
Creating / maintaining technical & procedural documentation for dashboards and reports that are developed.
Extracting, transforming and loading data from multiple sources into QlikSense applications.
Nprinting experience highly desirable
Experience of core coding languages is advantageous (SQL, Oracle)
Train and mentor team members utilising best practice and setting the benchmark standard for Qlik development
Business partnering with stakeholders to understand, clarify and deliver requirements that meet expected outcomes
Your skills and experience:
2+ years of QlikSense development experience, having balanced experience of back end scripting, model architecture and visualisations.
Excellent working knowledge of full functionality / capabilities of QlikSense
A strong analytical and logical mindset, being able to ask the right questions of stakeholders to deliver innovative and unique solutions.
Must be familiar with project full lifecycle and have demonstrable experience of these
Experience of relational databases and design would be advantageous
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written and be able to present ideas and execute them effectively
