The Centre for Academic Development and Quality (CADQ) is a dynamic and creative department that works with colleagues across the University. We are passionate about the successful progression and attainment of ALL our students. We are recruiting three Educational Developers (one 1.0fte, two 0.8fte) to contribute to our ambitious work to enhance learning and teaching.
Nottingham Trent University prides itself on being an inclusive employer and encourages applications from candidates who represent the diversity of our local communities and wider society. These posts are for educational developers with the knowledge, skills and dedication to contribute to our work in the NTU Schools you are allocated, addressing the previously unexplained gaps in students' progression and attainment. This includes supporting our award-winning work to introduce the SCALE-UP approach to develop active and inclusive curricula, learning and teaching.
A substantial knowledge of the theory and practice of active and inclusive learning, teaching, assessment and curriculum development is essential, whilst the ability to analyse and share the data that underpins such work is highly desirable. You will need to be a self-motivated, skilled facilitator who is comfortable engaging staff in discussion on challenging topics and able to quickly establish your credibility in the NTU Schools you will work with.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to educational development work at NTU and to make a real difference to students' experiences. As part of the application, please include a detailed written statement demonstrating how you meet the essential criteria articulated in the person specification, which is no more than four sides of A4 in length. For an informal discussion regarding this position, please contact: Tony Churchill, on +44(0)115 84 86486, or via email on Tony.firstname.lastname@example.org.
