Reports to: Digital Manager
Location: London (Shoreditch) / remote working from home
Hours: 21 hours per week
Contract: 6-month contract with potential to become permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, pro rata
This is a central role within D&AD. The role takes a project management lead on the delivery of implementation and upgrade projects across all business activities, and will be expected to work on a wide range of platforms (web, mobile, apps etc.) and to plan from a digital project management perspective.
The role will involve coordinating and managing competing business priorities, creating detailed project plans, adhering to strict budget and time constraints and being a main point of contact for internal stakeholders across product teams to ensure the digital team is as productive, efficient and effective as possible.
Due to the nature of the role you'll need to be brilliantly organised with outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as a natural flair for problem solving.
Define and deliver technology, systems and processes at both strategic level and implementation level.
Oversee multiple projects, creating timelines, managing a budget and ensuring timely completion.
Work with D&AD stakeholders to understand their business needs and scope the associated user requirements.
Develop a close working relationship with D&AD’s external digital suppliers and act as a liaison for D&AD staff.
Communicate D&AD’s digital strategy and operations to other teams and where necessary formally present at internal and external meetings.
Work with the DevOps Engineer, Developers, Web Editor and CRM & Data Analyst to oversee on-going development and ensure maintenance and integration of D&AD’s digital platforms including:
Professional and Student Awards entry systems
Professional and Student Awards archives
Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce)
Finance systems (including online payment processing)
Project Management system
Customer Helpdesk system
New digital applications, tools, platforms, features and functionalities
Proven experience and knowledge of digital project management methodologies in particular Agile and Process-based.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to translate commercial requirements into digital solutions and translate technical information into practical solutions.
Manage budgets and work cost-effectively.
Prioritise and work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines.
Proactively challenge current thinking and influence decision making.
Communicate and liaise professionally and effectively across all levels.
Up-to-date with digital trends and future developments.
Experience working in a technical environment.
Familiarity with the following web technologies:
Programming languages. Preferably, but not essentially, PHP and Python.
Development frameworks. Preferably, but not essentially, Django.
Familiarity with Salesforce and the Force.com platform including Sales and Service Cloud desirable.
