Full time member of the bid team supporting the company’s sales team and account managers with regards to Wireless and Cellular solutions/offerings and designs
Support customers on-site throughout the presales cycle (as required/needed)
Be the connecting link between Engineers, Sales team, Project Managers, and Account Managers with as a clear goal, to convey customer requirements to all teams
Ensure the commercial strategy and profitability forecasted at bid stage are achievable
Ensure all bid documentation adheres to editing and formatting standards
Risk management – ensuring that risks are identified and communicated to stakeholders and form part of the handover documentation between Sales and Operations
Full responsibility regarding the technical response to company RFI/Tenders
Involved during the discovery process, understanding specific user cases and customers’ pains to come with the right business case / ROI
Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
Determines improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
Experience in a pre-sales role would be considered beneficial.
Familiarity with IT, Wireless and Cellular networks, devices and solutions
Higher Diploma in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
Willingness to travel when required (customer sites)
Excellent spoken and written English is a must.
Additional languages – an advantage.

This position will be based our of our Reading office in the UK.
