Glotech are currently actively seeking a domestic refrigeration engineer. In this key role you'll ensure domestic refrigeration appliances are repaired and serviced in line with our high standards and health and safety regulations. As a representative of the company, you'll be responsible for offering a comprehensive and efficient service to our customer. Bags of initiative and a flexible, proactive approach are essential for this role. Experience in working with refrigeration fault finding and re-gassing is also essential. Experience with other domestic appliances is preferred but not essential. Salary dependant on experience:
Job Title: Refrigeration Field Service Technician

Hours of work: Mon-Fri 45 hours with paid lunch break
Overall job purpose: To provide efficient and high quality repair and service on domestic appliances
Reporting to: Service Manager
Attend up to 10 calls a day depending on areas/jobs
Is qualified and competent to test electrical appliances for compliance with current legislation.
Ensure that all paperwork is up to date and correct
Inspect job sheets closely to identify key parts that maybe needed to complete calls.
Collect parts that are to be fitted for days calls.
Ensure that van stock is always up to date.
Ensure that vehicle supplied is clean and presentable to enforce the companies image and carry out routine maintenance checks.
Plan your route in the most efficient way taking notes of times printed on job sheets.
Aim to be at your first call by 8:30am the latest each day.
Promote a good image to all customers.
Promote good teamwork.
Order any parts required from the customer's house using the laptop.
Be polite and courteous to all customers.
Ensure that work is of a high standard to encourage repeat business.
Clean up any mess caused from the work carried out at the customer's property.
Aim to complete as many calls as possible on the first visit.
Telephone the office on completion of days calls.
Wear company uniform provided at all times.
Previously trained to work on domestic appliances
Good Customer Service skills
Good geographical knowledge of the area
