Participates in the implementation of the quality program in a staff or project role. Reviews Contractor’s Quality Plans to assess compliance with the quality requirements. Organises and participates in audits, surveillances, and assessments by reviewing audit material and developing checklists to support the audit process. Works with other quality professionals to ensure corrective actions associated with deficiencies are documented, deemed effective and closed.
The project involves the extension of existing airport pier facilities, passenger gate lounges/services, creation of additional aircraft stands, taxiway/pavement interfaces and supporting utility provisions, and candidate should have experience of similar scope.
A. Supervision Received
Receives operational supervision and direction from a Project Field Engineer and from the Quality Function.
B. Supervision Exercised
Maintains contact with staff and project personnel in engineering, procurement, construction, testing, operations, decommissioning, and others, as required by assignments, to impart or obtain information;
Liaises with the Client’s Quality team on QMS matters;
Liaises with the Quality Function for reporting.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Maintain and report on the implementation of the QA Plan;
Plans, organizes and participates in quality audits or activities covered by corporate/ project quality program/plans;
Follows up on action taken in response to audit findings to ensure adequacy of completed corrective actions.
Tracks and reports on the production and review of the QMS documents;
Supports the project team in editing the QMS documents in the required format;
Review and recommends acceptance of Contractor's Quality Plans;
Supports the project team in drafting Lessons Learned and processes them in DevonWay;
Supports the project team in drafting Quality Events and processes them in DevonWay;
Organises KASE Gates and track action list in DevonWay;
Participate to monthly QPR;
Manage training and competency report on compliance;
Updates the Reading list;
Performs QA Surveillance
Organizes the monthly Quality Governance Meeting (QGM);
Prepare and presents the quality dashboard in the QGM.
Lead quality initiatives on the programme
Establish quality surveillance schedule and perform surveillance on Contractors
Establish quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and monitor performance
Issue NCR for surveillance conducted where required.
Intermediate technical knowledge in the application of engineering, environmental science, procurement, construction, testing, operations, or decommissioning practices sufficient to comprehend specified engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, testing, operations, decommissioning and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of quality principles and their application across applicable functional core processes.
Proficiency in the use of applicable computer applications – Word, Excel, Power BI, BIM 360 Field.
Proficiency in oral and written communication.
Internal Auditor certificate and basic experience
This knowledge is normally acquired through one or a combination of the following:
A recognized degree and/ specialized courses in engineering, quality or a related discipline.
Practical work experience in design engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, testing, operations, decommissioning, or business administration.
Coordinates procedural reviews and reports produced by subordinate quality professionals.
Guides the quality activities of functional professionals in the preparation and/or review of procedures, manuals and engineering/procurement documents.
Has demonstrated knowledge and understanding of quality program requirements and implementation as evidenced by continued proficiency in exercising assigned responsibilities.
Participates with other quality professionals in group assignments.
Prepares material incorporate in quality reports and reviews.
