Role & Purpose: As a Quality Engineer you will be working on a variety of projects and quality and support activities to improve for our upcoming release. This will include areas such as the eDrawings Product range, as well as SW Inspection and Composer products. As well as the opportunity to work with the latest SolidWorks release.
You will become a dedicated quality expert in various SOLIDWORKS eDrawings, Composer, Inspection, functionality, assisting the team where testing can improve overall end user satisfaction.
Location: Cambridge, UK
Placement length: 16 weeks starting in September
Salary: £19,000 pro-rated
Role: QA Engineer Intern
Test software across the SOLIDWORKS product line, focusing on SOLIDWORKS eDrawings, Composer, Inspection, or.
Learn new functionalities and present concepts to technical customers
Create and document test cases for various software workflow´s
Interact and file Software Problem Reports within our issue tracking system
Become the co-lead of customer facing Beta Software testing events held locally, triaging technical issues, customer questions, and event logistics
Attend training courses, acquiring certification proficiency in SOLIDWORKS software
Some knowledge and exposure to CAD Products, with some SOLIDWORKS experience is preferable
A keen interest in Design, Engineering and visualisation
Well motivated, enthusiastic, organised and willing to learn
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to document knowledge clearly and effectively
Hard working, enjoys a challenge and learning new skills
