The Railway Electrical Power team is seeking an Assistant Electrical Design Engineer to work on a number of multidisciplinary high profile Rail projects from our Guildford office. The role offers excellent opportunities for the right candidate to work within the Rail sector and build upon recent project successes.
The candidate will be an ambitious motivated electrical engineer with experience working with a reputable consultant or large D&B contractor.
A typical week would include:
Developing and delivering the electrical designs for traction or non-traction (E&P) power on rail projects as they arise
Working within a multidisciplinary team producing technically compliant designs to Clients requirements
Gaining suitable experience towards achieving Chartered status with the Institution of Engineering and Technology
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
experience of the Design of electrical systems
experience of Railway electrical power (traction and/or non-traction – E&P) Electrical Design
230/400V power distribution (single and 3phase), and/or HV distribution experience
