This role is a newly created opportunity for a Software Developer. You will report to the Technical Development Team Leader and be responsible for the provision of development expertise in developing and maintaining high quality solutions for clients and internal systems.

ABOUT YOU

You will need experience working within a successful software development team using both legacy and new technologies.

The required languages and skills to fulfil this role are:
C#

Microsoft .NET development

SQL,

HTML/CSS

JavaScript

Web Services (REST/SOAP)

JSON.

Use of common software methodologies to develop solutions (e.g. Waterfall, Agile) is beneficial for this role.

You will have a genuine interest in IT development, with a strong willingness to learn coupled with an ability to deliver solutions for a given specification or requirement to a high standard.

You will have the capability to identify potential problems with code, analyse issues and identify root causes.

You will be experienced in working in a fast paced environment, obtain strong communication skills including the ability to communicate work with technical and non-technical people alike, in a clear, collaborative and positive manner.

Restore Digital support customers on their digital transformation journeys. Born out of a scanning company, we still have four main scanning centres across the UK where we are working on large digitisation projects for the NHS, the Ministry of Defence and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. And usually, we are busy digitising most of the exam papers undertake in the UK every year.
