The role of Mechatronics engineer exists to ensure that the electro/mechanical systems employed by PM contribute to the business functioning as productively as possible. Pipeline & Maintenance (PM) Operations routinely use electro mechanical systems developed by the PM technology group as well as from 3rd parties to perform their day to day PM activities. The Mechatronics engineer working as part of a team will ensure that these systems continue to meet the business needs of PM by contributing to the design, build & test of new systems as well performing maintenance, troubleshooting and fault finding on existing systems.
