As a Software Engineer in Flexera’s Belfast Engineering team, you will be a leader that defines our technical strategy and the creative spark that finds ways to solve real, challenging industry problems.

Work closely with customers to provide innovative solutions for customer challenges with the current ServiceNow integration. Take the lead on certifying the Flexera solutions on 3rd party CMDB platform such as ServiceNow. Propose new, innovative solutions to develop the next-gen Flexera Normalize ServiceNow integration and the new Technopedia integration. Support the Belfast team’s culture of respect, excellence and trust; confidently promote our team’s principles and culture across the organization. Become familiar with all aspects of the Flexera Data Platform and be willing to contribute on any component Demonstrate technical leadership in terms of code quality, design patterns, and collaboration with the rest of the team. Mentor more junior team members as necessary
To be successful: the engineer will need to have some (if not all) of the following attributes:
Good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and SOA integrations such as SOAP and REST
Experience in developing data centric integrations.
Experience with Java, SQL, XML, and JSON. Go is advantageous but not essential.
Experience with Amazon EC2/S3, Kubernetes, and/or other cloud services.
Familiar with micro-services architecture.
Experience with CMDB such as BMC. Experience with ServiceNow would be a plus.
Experience developing on Linux and Windows environments.
Superb communication skills to work within and across teams.
