An opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator who is passionate about delivering high standards of care and service to join the Wheelchair Service based at St Catherine’s Health Centre, Birkenhead.
Our multidisciplinary team of therapists, engineers and support staff provide wheelchair equipment, assessments and support for adults and children living across Wirral and West Cheshire who have a long-term condition or disability which significantly impairs their ability to walk.
The successful candidate will provide strong, effective and efficient administration support to facilitate service delivery. We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills in order to maintain our exceptional standards of care when liaising with patients and their carers/ family members, colleagues and other internal and external agencies.
Experience of working in a busy office and being able to prioritise your own workload is essential. You must be computer literate and be experienced in using clinical and administration computerised referrals management and booking systems and be able to produce high standards of work with attention to detail. Experience of using other systems used by the wheelchair service, such as BEST is desirable.
You must be able to work full time over 5 days, Monday to Friday, and be willing and able to provide administrative support at the Wheelchair Service in Ellesmere Port on an occasional basis to cover absence.
