About The Role
Are you looking to start your career as an IT Service Desk/ Helpdesk Engineer? Do you want to work for a growing and dynamic organisation? If so, we really want to hear from you.
As an Apprentice IT Service Desk Engineer you will be providing first line support for IT users from across the organisation. You will provide a flexible and responsive service, ensuring that service level agreements are met.
Working from our new purpose built office in Exeter, you will be joining a small team of highly skilled technicians supporting the business across our regions. Whilst training and working alongside a skilled team, you will undertake the Level 3 IT Solutions Technician apprenticeship - this course is run from Bristol, with most sessions held online.
This role is being offered on a full time, fixed term basis for the period of the Apprenticeship course, which is 18 months. You will be working a shift pattern between 7.30am and 5pm to ensure the Service Desk is covered during office hours.

About The Candidate
To be considered for the role of Apprentice IT Service Desk Engineer, you will:
Have a passion for working with IT hardware and software.
Want to work in a customer facing role such as a Service Desk.
Be able to troubleshoot basic computer faults.
Have knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365 and Skype for Business.
Possess a pleasant manner with the ability to build a rapport with people at all levels.
Have excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
Be able to juggle conflicting and changing priorities.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
