Inspection and Overhauling of ABB Turbochargers to OEM Standards
Your responsibilities
Act as workshop support and carry out workshop service procedures to OEM standard
Be able to competently use general machine shop equipment and measuring instruments
Have knowledge of specialist engineering process such as TIG welding & balancing
Understand the scope of the job to be performed
Ensure that the working procedures are according to BU scope in accuracy and quality.
Work to high dimensional acurracy and possess the ability to read machine drawings
Undertaking work in a coordinated and timely fashion as required by the service coordinator
Checking all relevant information of turbochargers and working procedures
Working according to working instructions and adhering to regulatory and company OHS policy
Perform services according to the scope defined within the work order
Coordinate work order deviations in the scope with service coordinator
Create inspection reports and documentary evidence
Maintenance of tools and equipment
Input for continuous process improvement
Maintaining a clean and proper working environment
Support service availability targets (24/7 service availability)
Your background
Must have completed a recognized Apprenticeship to BTEC/ONC Level or equivalent qualification
Desirable: Turbocharging experience
