To support, enable and advance the IT infrastructure, systems, security and services of RLC Ltd primarily for its locations at Altham, with elements of remote support for other locations
Proactively maintain existing IT infrastructure, networks, server estates, firewalls, applications and security solutions
Experience with industry standard network applications and hardware
Experience with physical and virtual server environments plus SQL and mail
Experience with full Microsoft stack (server, client and cloud technologies)
Maintain customer requests, tickets and root course closures within agreed SLAs.
Deliver projects and system changes in accordance with PMO standards and change management practices.
Uphold and advance security systems, polices and processes
Contribute to new technologies and process / system improvements
Ensure system maintenance and backups are conducted and are robust
Ideally, educated to degree level within relevant subject, professional certification in Microsoft and network tools e.g., CCNA or equivalent.
Must have demonstrable and credible experience of operating with in an IT environment covering multiple production systems and technologies
Driven and customer focused approach to problem solving and technical resolutions both face to face and remote.
Capable of working on own and as part of a cross functional IT team
Flexible and outgoing approach with attention to detail for IT customers and internal contacts
A good communicator both verbal and written with the appreciation of when to escalate topics and issues to IT management.
