About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our Rail team to work across the UK.
To manage and implement digital progressive assurance across all Rail projects.
To develop and maintain the Quality and Engineering O365 community websites and knowledge sharing.
To support COMAEA compliance, managing resource and line management for robust completion and review.
What you'll be doing
You will have the following accountabilities:
Deploy the F360 system and its architecture on each project.
Onsite training to staff to embed self-sustained project implementation.
On call support and resolution assistant
Manage, monitor and monthly reports on project adoption to the head of engineering & quality.
Continuous improvements within the system for integration with other systems and governed workflow process for quality assurance.
Team member for the development of the Minimum Digital Expectations.
Team member of Engineering Futures Digital Delivery work stream.
Team member and occasional chair in Rail F360 Working Group.
Engage with IT / Data Analyst Teams to maximise reporting capabilities.
Share best practice and lessons learnt across BB UK
Maintain and assist in Power BI quality dashboard reports for all Projects
Who we're looking for
You will have the following qualities and experience:
Good people engagement and team-working skills;
High competence in software systems and process flow technologies;
Proficient in MS Office;
Minimum HNC or Degree (preferably in Information & Technology)
