Title – Avionics & Mission Systems Engineer
Location – Turkey – Strong possibility of work back in the UK after an initial period of up to 12 months on-site
As part of our on-going support to a client based in Turkey, we are currently looking for Avionics & Mission Systems Engineer on a contract basis to support an aerospace project. On returning to the UK we will be able to offer work in our offices on a permanent contract or as a PSC.
Due to the nature of the work you must be from a NATO country and ideally from the UK.
Perform design integration test and validation activities for Avionics and Mission Systems (Display Recording Control Communication System Navigation System Radar System Electronic Warfare System Electro-Optic Systems) and subsystems.
Prepare/Perform system design plan
Prepare/Perform system development activities
Generation validation and verification of system requirements
Development of system architecture and functional allocation
Definition of subsystem equipment technical specifications
Perform design and integration activities according to program plan
Technical management and follow-up activities of subcontracts
Supporting certification and qualification activities
Performing modelling and simulation activities
Prepare/support system documentation technical reports test plans
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Communication or Physics Engineering
Work experience in system design and development of at least one of the following areas
Indicator Record Control System
Electronic Warfare System
Knowledge and experience about avionic system interfaces used in aviation (High speed ETHERNET MIL-STD-1553 RS-232 RS-485 AFDX CAN)
Knowledge and/or necessary infrastructure to derive requirements and to determine inter-system interfaces
Being able to solve technical problems (working in methodological and systematic way)
Knowledge or experience about the processes and standards of system engineering in the field Project based experience in avionics system integration
