QA Engineer (XpertHR)
XpertHR is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer who is a dynamic individual with excellent end to end testing and analysis skills. Having background experience of delivering both BAU and projects, you have an in-depth understanding of the integrations between the source and output systems, delivering high quality products.
You will be key to the success of current and future projects delivering new features to XpertHR customers. A good knowledge of End-to-End test lifecycle is essential. You will be part of a highly collaborative team operating across 3 countries throughout the entire product life cycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Understanding requirements and solutions to ensure testing is valid
Create the test plan in line with strategy and business standards
Identify opportunities to apply automation or other tools to improve the effectiveness or efficiency of testing.
Maintain and support existing test automation suites.
Suggest process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance.
Report issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate.
Work across teams to enhance quality functional testing by identifying and helping to implement initiatives that will improve capability and efficiency.
Logging test effort and comparing against estimates
Be able to communicate technical solutions to non-technical colleagues
Overcoming problems and requirements by suggesting the best possible solutions
Essential Skills & Experience:
Moderate knowledge of QA methodologies.
Knowledge of process improvement.
Solid understanding of the software development process.
Attention to detail.
Ability to conduct QA testing on moderate-scale projects.
Strong time management skills.
Understanding of industry trends.
Constructing and executing test plans/test cases.
Experience with Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) methodology
Understanding of automation/other tools such as, MongoDB, SQL, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Git, Jira that increase testing efficiency
Good oral and written communication.
Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Experience with working with Remote teams.
Ability to work with minimum guidance
