Link Property is a subsidiary of Link Group and launched in July 2013 to provide a high quality, customer-focused repairs and maintenance service to Link tenants and other customers in Scotland’s Central Belt. Since then, the operation has grown and now delivers a range of planned and cyclical maintenance activities.
Link Property, Link Group’s ISO 9001 accredited in-house contractor has recently established a new team to undertake domestic gas servicing and repairs. The post will be based in Link’s Falkirk Office but there will be a requirement to work throughout Link’s areas of operation, Access to a van, mobile phone, uniform and PPE is provided.
We are looking for applications from experienced, fully qualified Gas Engineers who demonstrate the highest of professional standards, especially in respect of compliance, quality and customer service. The Gas Engineer will provide a high quality and efficient service, carrying out all aspects of gas service and maintenance work to properties owned or managed by Link Group.
You should have full domestic A.C.S. Qualifications to include; CPA1, CENWAT, CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, MET1/2, City & Guilds NVQ (ACS Aligned) Level 3 or equivalent. For natural gas domestic installations and be Gas Safe registered
You will be able to demonstrate experience in the installation service and repair of gas systems and express knowledge of current gas regulations and the Gas Industry Unsafe situations procedures, combined with a sound technical knowledge of gas systems including fault diagnosis and rectification.
It is essential that you have a knowledge of, and a commitment to, excellent customer care and a current UK Driving Licence.
