In this role you will be responsible for supporting the project delivery through the successful management and delivery for civil engineering work in rail infrastructure for its highways and structures on the route.
About the project:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the HS2 Project, an alliance of 2 exceptional companies and HS2 as the client.
You will work to ensure that all site operations are controlled by safe systems of work defined within internally and externally approved method statements, risk assessments, task sheets and procedures.

Additional activities include:
Engineering Methods – Good knowledge of the latest engineering methodology, implementation of processes and communication of requirements.
Quality – Implementation of company and project quality and good knowledge of QA standards. Responsible for NCRs and maintenance of records.
Permanent woks and materials / plant – Knows the value of plants and materials, determines testing, directs call offs, monitors waste, interprets test results.
Construction methods, practice and innovation – Knowledge of an extensive range of methods, knowledge of manufacturers and suppliers, creation of best practice and continuous improvement, evaluation of methods, communication of methods, review of project plans.
Temporary Works – Able to demonstrate effective TW solutions and act as the TWC for risks, checklists and design reviews.
Design process – Working with Design managers for reviews, alterations, innovation, buildability and ensure checking process.
HSE – Work with the teams and H&S professionals to ensure safe working practices.
Responsible for a team of senior engineering professionals.
