Do you want to play a critical part in the further rollout of SharePoint online at the CAA?
You’ll be part of the Software Engineering team within a DevOps environment producing new and innovative solutions working alongside a wide range of CAA colleagues and external suppliers. Ensuring the solutions you work on meet development best practices and technical standards will be top priority. The SharePoint/M365 Developer should understand how to find the right patterns and tools to develop SPO and Microsoft 365 family solutions efficiently and advise accordingly.
We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic developer who can produce high-quality solutions to help assure the work of others, someone who is a great teammate and will join our current Collaboration and Information Management team in a technical role as a developer.
You’ll need recent experience in:
SharePoint Online Configuration, Migration, Implementation and Web Part development using PowerShell, REST, Typescript, React, SASS, SPFx, and PnP (PnP PowerShell and PnP JS.
Types, managed metadata, lists, libraries, sites, office groups etc.
Developing and supporting SharePoint applications to a user base of 1000+ including internal and external collaboration, records management, workflow and social media.
Additional beneficial experiences, knowledge and skills:
SharePoint migration and SharePoint Records Centre
SharePoint Online development techniques, including modern approaches to branding and customisation, external collaborations and remote provisioning
Good development practises using Azure DevOps
Microsoft 365 platform and services particularly Power Automate
Information Architecture– classic hierarchal and modern flat structures using hub, communication, team and home sites
Security and Compliance controls within Microsoft 365 and how these are applied to SharePoint Online
